Jalan Jurong Kechil runs past the site between Upper Bukit Timah Road and Beauty World. To the north, the Bukit Batok nature reserve and Bukit Batok Nature Park; to the east, Hindhede Nature Park and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve; to the south, the shops, food streets and MRT station of Beauty World. The landed homes of the Jalan Jurong Kechil estates and the condominiums along Upper Bukit Timah Road make up the neighbourhood.
The site itself is large and gently sloping, about 19,245 square metres, and the architect’s briefing shows the five blocks set back from its boundary by about 10 to 35 metres, with the nearest existing buildings some 175 to 430 metres away. The neighbourhood around The Sen
Upper Bukit Timah is one of the greenest residential districts of Singapore, its private estates woven between nature reserves, parks and the Rail Corridor. The Downtown Line has drawn it closer to the city, and the Beauty World integrated transport hub and the Cross Island Line at King Albert Park will extend its reach.
By car, the developer gives about three minutes to Hume and Beauty World stations, about five to the Pan-Island Expressway and about seven to the Bukit Timah Expressway. A bus stop on Jalan Jurong Kechil outside the development has frequent services to Beauty World MRT station.
