Few homes in Singapore have as much forest within reach as The Sen. Bukit Batok Nature Park is a short walk away, and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, its neighbouring parks and the Rail Corridor are all within about two kilometres.
Bukit Batok Nature Park and The Sen
Bukit Batok Nature Park, about 520 metres from the site in a straight line, is a former quarry turned into a park, with a lake at the foot of the old quarry face, walking trails, ponds and lookouts. Improvement works planned for the park add a boardwalk with quarry views, new plazas, a children’s play area and better links to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, according to the developer’s architect briefing.
Bukit Batok Town Park, known for the cliffs and lake of Little Guilin, is about 1.8 kilometres away. Both parks are managed by the National Parks Board, which publishes their trail maps.
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve from The Sen
The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is one of Singapore’s few remaining tracts of primary rainforest and holds Bukit Timah Hill, the island’s highest natural point. Its entrance area is about 1.4 kilometres from the site, and Hindhede Nature Park, beside it with its quarry lookout, about 1 kilometre. Rifle Range Nature Park, about 1.8 kilometres away, has boardwalks over restored forest and wetlands.

The Rail Corridor and Green Routes Near The Sen
The Rail Corridor follows the old railway line for about 24 kilometres across the island, a continuous green trail for walkers and cyclists. Its central stretch passes the Bukit Timah truss bridges and the old Bukit Timah Railway Station, about 2.1 kilometres from the site. The Bukit Timah-Rochor Green Corridor, a linear park along the Bukit Timah Canal, is planned to link the Rail Corridor eastwards, and the Bukit Batok Nature Corridor will connect the Bukit Batok parks with the Central Catchment, according to the developer’s brochure.
